Pop into Zoom and explore this fascinating historical talk by Dr Tom Hose from the School of Earth Sciences, University of Bristol. His talk will explore “The people and places that contributed to the discovery and understanding of the county’s geology and Palaeolithic archaeology will be explored; where some of these can be appreciated today will be noted. All of this is underpinned by an appreciation of the Geologists’ Association’s historical excursions to Bedfordshire and some related local, social and industrial history.”
