Annual Greensand Country Festival now supported by Mulberry Homes

The Greensand Country Festival welcomes a new partnership with Mulberry Homes for 2021.

Mulberry Homes, who is committed to sustainable, ethical and community-focused practises, will be the Key Festival Sponsor for the Greensand Country Festival taking place during May.

The Greensand Country festival showcases the rich natural and cultural heritage of the special, distinctive and loved landscape of the Greensand Country which is available all year round.

The inaugural Greensand Country Festival was held in 2018 and it was a great success. In 2019 the number of events organised doubled and over 7,000 participants enjoyed the festival. Greensand Country had intended to further build on the success of these two festivals in 2020 however, the Covid-19 pandemic halted that plan.

This year the festival is back with a bang and a new sponsor so the future is looking bright for the Greensand Country Festival, supported by Mulberry Homes 2021.

There is a wealth of activities lined up and ready for residents to get involved with. It is an opportunity to explore, to learn and try out new things. There are self-guided walks as well as guided walks for those not so confident in finding their way round the country side. For sheer entertainment there is an air display at Shuttleworth as well as live music.

If you are interested in learning there are a number of talks on gardens and the geology of the area. Or if you just want some down time then why not reconnect with nature via outdoor yoga, a sound bath or forest bathing?
